The Saint John Trojans travel to Fredericton this Saturday for provincial semi final action. 1pm KO. Hope to see a great crowd on the berm!
A #tbt in recognition of 12 years since the Loyalists attended the first and only National Club Championship. They will return to the show in 3 weeks time at Klahanie park in Vancouver to take on the Brantford Harlequins,No'r Westers and UBC Old Boys.
The Loyalists went 2-2 beating U of Manitoba Wombats and Balmy Beach while narrowing losing to UBC Old Boys and Stratcona Druids in both matches. Malcolm Reeves garnered "Most Tries of the Tournament" honours, while JB Watson, Pemelika Fiaui and Jebb Sinclair were picked up for NA4 East team and Adam Mcloskey was picked up for the West team.

Very busy week past and coming so let's get right to it.
Big thanks to the huge crowd that came out for the full day of rugby at the club on Saturday. In the two league games the club came out on top with the Women beating the Irish and the Men's A side topping the Mudmen in Maritime Elite League action. In exhibition action the Men's B side drew 22-22 with the Mudmen. Beautiful day of rugby and great crowd supporting the teams from berm.
Saturday was also the last day of flag rugby for the year. This was another banner year for the program with over 220 kids taking part. A massive thanks to the full crew of coordinators and coaches who make this such a success. Feedback from parents is incredibly positive and the smiles on the kids faces tell their story. I am always hesitant to use the terms once in a lifetime opportunity when describing something, but for this tour I must. Back in January or February of this year we were approached to put together an 18 person touring side to go and play St-Pierre et Miquelon XV side. They specifically requested a squad that included three women and 3 players over the age 40. When they approached us it sounded too good to be true.
